Obama killed Osama ...

BIRD33 Wrote:1.People favor health care reform.
2.Stop Iran from what?Their economy is fucked with all the sanctions Obama laid on them.Look it up.
3.You must spend during a recession.Look at Italy to see why you can't cut back during one. We've had 22 months of growth.
4.Yea that shit sandwich is just a flip of the switch from being fixed.
5.22 months of growth, beeatch.

5. Supreme court will rule this summer... how much will this thing cost?
4. The pentagon requested $82 million to make a bigger bunker buster. The bomb is needed so say because of the Iranian nuclear facilities. Wasn't one of his goals to bring Irans nuclear program to a halt? Also passed on an opportunity to weaken the regime internally by supporting Iran's Green movement — the massive protests that erupted in June 2009 after an election was rigged to ensure another term for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
3. One of the president's economic allies, mega-billionaire Warren Buffett, said, "What happened with Simpson-Bowles was an absolute tragedy." The Republicans share the blame for the circus that was 2011, of course, but by tabling the recommendations of his very own blue-ribbon panel, Obama gave some voters — and GOP rivals — an early and perhaps lasting impression that he wasn't serious about making those tough choices.
2. Efforts to stem foreclosures and help folks refinance were poorly designed and have fallen well short of expectations. A short-lived tax credit to encourage first-time buyers wasn't extended by Congress, and ongoing waves of foreclosures continue to depress prices. Today, 22 percent of all homeowners are underwater on their mortgages. The problem for the president is that housing is not an isolated issue. It's tied to jobs, and until the labor market heals, housing will continue to grind along. The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller Index for November warned bluntly that "the troubled housing market remains weak and won't recover anytime soon." Housing, jobs, and long-term consumer confidence can be a virtuous — or vicious circle. They have been the latter for the better part of a decade already.
1. As for job creation, the administration was off as well. It has created 3 million jobs, but it took until the end of 2011 to get there. Because the president overpromised and under-delivered on the economic recovery, he may be right about that one-term proposition.

5.It won't be repealed. You're living in the GOP cocoon.
4.I guess you didnt hear about those Iranian nuclear scientists getting blown up two weeks ago.Every expert on Iran will admit we've boxed in Iran.A bomb is not the only answer but it makes sense you'd think that.
3.Simpson bowles wasnt passing due to the GOP mostly. You're just spouting off todays party line. Here's the party line when it came out....
Look, I’ve never been especially fond of the Simpson-Bowles plan — its approach to Social Security “reforms” is a mess — so I’m delighted Democratic leaders didn’t pursue it, but perhaps now is a good time to remind the RNC and other conservatives of a significant detail: Republicans used to hate the Simpson-Bowles plan. In fact, the reason it’s called the “Simpson-Bowles plan” as opposed to the “Simpson-Bowles commission plan” is that GOP officials on the commission refused to support it, guaranteeing the commission’s failure. Indeed, how many of the Republican lawmakers on the commission agreed to support the chairmen’s plan? Zero.

Simpson Bowles is just something to complain about now for republicans cause they got little else.THEY NEVER SUPPORTED IT.
2.Yea the housing market is a mess. How did we get here again?Which president tried to get every asshole a new house, I forget? It will take years to fix that guy whom I can't recall at this moments mess.
1.Sorry he didnt create 10 million jobs during the closest thing to the great depression we've had.The week before he took office we lost 700,000 jobs. We've had slow but steady job growth since then. The Auto bailout which you opposed and is now considered a success would have cost us 1 million jobs if we didnt do it like Romney suggested.

exactly how I figured you'd respond. in your eyes you see no faults at all... right or wrong.

Where do you get that? You raised(or copy and pasted) 5 specious at best criticisms of Obama and I refuted them because they have little merit. This isnt kool-aid drinking, those points had no substance.Thats on you not me.I don't agree with Obama on the drones we have flying around in other countries without their knowledge and guantanomo being still open.Thats more criticism than I ever saw from you during the Bush years.Given the options available on who to support for president I've got little choice on who to back but even so Obama has done a decent to good job considering the smoldering mess your guy left us with.Your side is so fucked up because it's "us vs them" all day every day.You are the one who is acting exactly as to be expected.

Now can you nut up and answer the "Do you agree with Romney that we should have let GM fold" question you've somehow looked past.

There is no way to say it would have folded. They may have folded or they may have recovered after bankruptcy.

If you believe in capitalism, the weak companies must fold to make room for the stronger companies. Hasn't Toyota and Honda been kicking the shit out of GM for the past.. oh um.. forever? Why is that. Do the workers at Toyota have some secret special thing that makes people buy from them? No they build a better car. If GM built better cars.. they would have never been in their situation.

This socialist crap of helping everyone is why we as a country are in so much trouble now. Thin the herd.. cull the weak... and the strong get stronger.

Oh and that stuff I copied and pasted is from an obama supporter... he did Obamas 5 best things and Obamas 5 worse things... Knowing you drink the kool aid and think according to what you are told I knew you'd refute every one of those points.

Kudos bird.

Wow what a clever guy you are. That was the most intricate scheme ever devised.Or who the fuck cares.I refuted something you wrote not knowing it was written by someone else!My god what a fool I am.If the guys points don't make sense should I just go along with them? That iran question is laughable.Should I pretend we are failing in that area when most experts on both sides agree we've boxed them in?

In the future it'd be great if you had your own thoughts on matters. If not just give me the email address of the people you're quoting and if I feel like it I'll email them directly.Thanks.

8 please read about your fellow hypocrites, I mean patriots. Its a long article but chock full of whites who want the dirty blacks to get off the government dole while they and their family live off the government themselves.

Support for spending cuts runs strong in Chisago, where anger at the government helped fuel Mr. Cravaack’s upset victory in 2010 over James L. Oberstar, the Democrat who had represented northeast Minnesota for 36 years.

Spending like this is simply unsustainable, and it’s time to cut up Washington, D.C.’s credit card,” Mr. Cravaack said in a February speech to the Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce. “It may hurt now, but it will be absolutely deadly for the next generation — that’s our children and our grandchildren.”

But the reality of life here is that Mr. Gulbranson and many of his neighbors continue to take as much help from the government as they can get. When pressed to choose between paying more and taking less, many people interviewed here hemmed and hawed and said they could not decide. Some were reduced to tears. It is much easier to promise future restraint than to deny present needs.

“How do you tell someone that you deserve to have heart surgery and you can’t?” Mr. Gulbranson said.

He paused.

“You have to help and have compassion as a people, because otherwise you have no society, but financially you can’t destroy yourself. And that is what we’re doing.”

He paused again, unable to resolve the dilemma.

“I feel bad for my children.”

And of course the ironic reality.

But Dean P. Lacy, a professor of political science at Dartmouth College, has identified a twist on that theme in American politics over the last generation. Support for Republican candidates, who generally promise to cut government spending, has increased since 1980 in states where the federal government spends more than it collects. The greater the dependence, the greater the support for Republican candidates.

Conversely, states that pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits tend to support Democratic candidates. And Professor Lacy found that the pattern could not be explained by demographics or social issues.

There is no other way to put this without resorting to demographic bluntness: the small fraction of Americans who are trying to pick the Republican nominee are old, white, uniformly Christian and unrepresentative of the nation at large.

None of that is a surprise. But when you look at the numbers, it’s stunning how little this Republican primary electorate resembles the rest of the United States. They are much closer to the population of 1890 than of 2012.
