I agree, its a big game for those schools...not sure about college basketball as a whole. You're just trying to make it all about you and the team you root for. Its really not even a bigger game than when Memphis and Tenn. played last year.

Dukes been red hot at home.Wake needs to get the ball inside and challenge dukes bigs.duke could have blown their load against maryland.This new expanded conference sucks because this is their only regular season matchup unless they meet in the ACC tourney.

Duke had no business being in that game at the end. What happened to Nelson, Scheyer and anyone not named Henderson or Singler. I can't help but think of Gumby when I see Zoubek. He gets pushed around like nothing. I feel bad for Virginia.

Duke got screwed on that last traveling call that gave Wake the ball under the basket.How if I come down with a rebound and land on an opposing teams player because he's laying on the ground is that a travel?Are you supposed to balance yourself on the guys chest?Dukes inbound defense was atrocious.

That being said Duke should never have been close.Like I said if you can attack Duke from the inside they are in trouble especially if they arent hitting their threes.Scheyer is a timid baby.I'd almost rather have Paulus out there if he's going to miss every three he takes.Singler played great last night but he showed exactly what his game is, the Dirk offense where you have a 7 footer spending a majority of his time on the perimeter shooting three's.Nothing wrong with that but you need a post up game to win and while he's shooting three's that means Dukes second tallest player on the floor is 30 feet from the basket and can't get a rebound which puts them at a disadvantage.

Wakes got a good team but I don't think Duke played their best game so I still think Duke has a chance to go further than wake.

That was Wakes game to lose. The atmosphere was incredible. I loved the "Welcome to the Jungle" with the Deacon on the motorcycle.

Duke looked like they were not into it at all. They shot below 30% from the field in the first half. If Singler and Henderson come back next year duke should be a favorite to win the title.

The motorcycle thing was painful to watch.They act like they are a pro team with that pregame lightshow.

I doubt Henderson will be back.He's a top 5 lottery pick right now.
