I thought BIRD33 was a good guy. He was definitely in a league of his own, no one anything like him. He always played the exact same game. Never waivered. The fact that he managed several years here and never once started a thread was incredible. The way he managed to never put spaces after his periods was $$$ only because he never forgot to do it.

I liked it when he got pinned up in an argument and he would never back down. He would even come up with some really ingenious ways to twist the whole thing around to where you would question yourself about what you thought. He had a lightning fast wit. He always kept the forum in perspective and always managed to make everyone feel stupid the minute they took any of it serious.

He could put anyone in their place when the time was right. And he never cared who it was, how big or how small. He never threatened to quit, to leave, to shut the board down, anything. He just laid in the bushes and waited to strike at his next victim of stupidity.

His sports knowledge was phenomenal. I really think he would have been a pretty interesting guy in real life. Probably nothing like what we saw here. Probably just as witty and I'm sure he was very smart. I could have probably had him crying and calling his mom to come get him from a golf course, but I would have enjoyed playing a round with him.
