Growing up, my stepdaddy was a teaching pro like me. A local restauranteur wanted lessons and offered to barter food--either free restaurant meals or actual huge steaks from the kitchen.

It was the best eating we ever had and lasted for a couple of years. I like the idea of trading goods/services cause it cuts out any taxation. The club I work at handles the money end of things so that's out for me there, but I could also teach at say the local high school on off hours and trade something for that.

mmh well that's interesting, remembers me the history classes where I was teached that really quickly (around stone age in fact I think) the barter system was exchanged with something more convenient : a common thing who didn't got an intrisecal value.
