A man accidentally shot dead his wife while trying to install a TV satellite system in his bedroom.

Ronald Long had been unable to punch a hole through one of his exterior walls in Missouri, U.S.
So he used his .22 calibre handgun to fire two shots into the wall to make a hole big enough for a cable to run through from the outside satellite dish.
Tragically his wife Patsy, 34, who was standing outside the house was hit.
She later died from her injuries at hospital near her home in rural Deepwater, Missouri.
Investigators have yet to decide if her husband will face any charges.
He told police he believed his wife and two young children were in the house as she attempted the DIY installation.
Long, 32, said he was installing a satellite TV system in the bedroom of their single storey ranch-style home.
He had failed to punch a hole in the all using other methods and did not have a drill.
Rather than drive to the local DIY store he used his pistol which was kept in the bedroom.
Henry County sheriff's deputies said the woman was hit by the second of two shots fired by her husband.
