10 cubic yards of concrete (20 x 25 / 9 x 6 / 36 = 10 cy)

If you don't have access to a jack hammer, then you will either need a small backhoe or a big sledge hammer. You could saw it up (or pay someone to do it $100 minimum probably) into small squares for easy removal.

convert the feet and inches to yards
do the appropriate volume calcs

assuming there is no footer around the edges
you might consider having it less thick in the middle, it is a lot of concete
they sell it by the yard

do you have access to some illegal immigrants??
they love to break up concrete

edit:
ooooops
didnt see you around mr asshat
sorry to intrude

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

10 cubic yards...approx. 80 cube yard i'm guessin?

existing drive is only 10X25 now, so should be simple enough to hammer the fuck outta it and rip it up myself....I think.

Have one of your buddies hide a bag of weed under the slab. I'm confident you'll get that concrete cleaned up un no time.

I'm fuckin' scrappy, I can handle it. If not, my buddy works for a concrete place, I'll have some illigals come do it for a Corona an hour.

I have no idea what that means.

When you call to order the concrete, they should be able to deliver one 10 cubic yard load. Some cities will only allow 8 cubic yard trucks. If so, then order the 8 cubic yards and then back order the last 2 yards or whatever you think you are short. Sometimes you lose more concrete than you think (that or they fuck you on how much is on the truck). You will probably end up using a half yard or so over 10 cubic yards. You can order the tag load off of the truck that makes the first delivery.

You can rent a small jack hammer for $50 or so from Home Depot or any equipment rental yard.
Also, make sure if you are doing this yourself you get your forms right. You do not want to end up with a wavy drive way.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

New home builders around here generally put down a 2 inch sand cushion and then 4 inch concrete.

When I do city jobs, most cities require 5 inch concrete for driveways. If it was me, I would go with 6 inches since he is only ordering one load anyway.

Clay, use 2 x 6's for your forms. They measure 5-1/2 inches wide. If you grade it for 5-1/2 inches you will be safe to not run over 10 yards (1 load). Use number 3 rebar (3/8 inch thick) and put them on 18 inch centers (24 inch centers if you are a cheap fuck). If you are tying into an existing concrete driveway, put a piece of black expansion joint material against the old concrete and drill into the concrete with some 3/8 inch tie bars.

Also, you will want to dummy joint the concrete on no more than 12' panels. That will probably mean one down the center and one going the other way. Use a 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch edger to round off the edges and broom it with some type of broom in the direction the water flows (downhill).

thank you, sir
i was just trying to save the phukker a little scratch, he seems to have finacial constraints

can he not use concrete mesh in place of the rebar??
if not, why not??
can he go high in the middle and maybe get by with about seven yds??
this could save him a few hunnert bucks
