2009 mlb predictions
#41

Moyer
Utley
Rollins
Victorino
Howard

They have played with their regular lineup 9 times this year.

i'll just wait for the goat to make the list
it is extensive

in the meantime:

5/21 Friday Phillies 5, Red Sox 1 Citizens Bank Park 7:05 45,341
5/22 Saturday Red Sox 5, Phillies 0 Citizens Bank Park 7:10 45,310
5/23 Sunday Red Sox 8, Phillies 3 Citizens Bank Park

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Interleague play means something?Come on.Why are we wasting time talking about a team thats in 3rd place in its division?

It don't.the Phil's are going to the world series despite losing two of three 2 months ago.You sound retarded arguing that interleague series means anything. You will quiet down like your son once my prediction comes through again.

Steroid denial in DC could send Roger Clemens to pen for 30 years

I can't figure clemens out.Surely he's not going to get 30 years in jail but what the fuck does he have to gain by keeping this charade up?

BIRD33 Wrote:I think its obvious the Phil's had a few more injury problems to deal with then the sawx. The phillies are going to win the pennant. We've been through this before the past few years. You think its too early to say that, I know whats going on and when it comes to fruition you quiet down.

this seriously proves you have no fucking clue.

sox opening day lineup - games missed due to injury

ellsbury - 105 games missed, done for season
pedroia - 48 games missed, just went back on DL
v martinez - 33 games missed
youkilis - 21 games missed, done for season
ortiz
beltre
jd drew
cameron - 75 games missed
scutaro

beckett - missed ~12 starts

others with significant DL time:
varitek
dice k
lowell
jed lowrie

when the third healthiest player on the team is JD Drew, that's a fucking problem.

You're right about the sox's injuries being more plentiful.Shouldnt have said "Few more".My point was Utley, Rollins and Howard being the core of the Phillies and missing months was more damaging.Maybe it wasnt.I don't give a fuck.

Why the fuck is the comparison between the two teams even coming up?Because some dumb ivy leaguer thinks a interleague series in July has something to do with anything.
