Update on the soccer game (switzerland-france)
#21

BIRD33 Wrote:Its striclty a numbers game, more people playing soccer than the total population of some europeon countries= world class players that take over eventually.Go ahead and ignore whats going on around you(sup Switzerland,Austria,The Netherlands circa WW2)

the US is caatching up, but they still have a long way to go to become an elite team
they are getting some repect, but are not feared on the world stage

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Well we actually have the reversed game here as we have had in IceHockey ...
Take Russia as an example ... for a couple of decades NOONE could even get close to beat them ... But it took a few years and a fall of the iron Curtain for the rest to catch up ... But they are back again to allmost the great hockey nation they once were ... So I guess that US will mabe have a teamin a decade or two ... But the rest of the world is still evolving... AND it has been proven that countries that have either sport as a "national" sport are allways in the top ... And US have allways had their football, baseball and basket ....

quite so, most of the best athletes will not gravitate to soccer in the US
if they did, no one would be able to compete with a US squad

final update 1-1 (lucky goal from french player sisse).

Anyhow that makes me laugh wft usa in top 10 countries, that just made me laugh out loud (lol and stuff).

And bird33 is def' a moron, don't look at those fifa rankings they are based of bullshits, your national team just can't even compete with the quality of other countries, it's not only a matter of putting 10th of thousands youngs into soccer.

If you knew really about soccer you would know that there's a huge different between a top class player and a "good player" put 10'000 youths on intensive play, they would become eventually "good players" but a top class player just feel the game, makes wizardy things, have that "bright inspiration of the moment".
Seriously doods like that you just respect them, even if they put some goal against your fav' team meaning that it's disqualified

some dudes like that :
- Pele
- Maradona
- Zidane
- Ronaldo (you got to admit that even right now even if he just shows 5 minutes on the field he can creates some impressive actions)
- Henry (yeah that dude's impressive imho)
