Update on the soccer game (switzerland-france)
#1

1. the referee is a fucking moron who doesn't do his job
2. frenchies are playing "heavy", means that they don't really have a "fair play" game. -> if a swiss attacker starts a really dangerous action they mow him. So far one or two yellow cards for frenchies (if a player got two yellow cards he's out of the field, one red means immediate exclusion).
3. We already put one goal but it was cancelled (it's a "out game" as the attacker was ahead of the defenders).

We will win (?!)...hope so we have the nasty habbit to make idiotic misakes in second half

you don't really believe the US squad is better than all but five teams in the world
i know you are not that dubm (sic)

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

yes, i follow world football a bit
love the world cup, great event
the US has improved a lot, but despite the ranking, they are not fifth in the world
they have come a long way just to be able to beat up on mediocre teams

"I'm excited, but skeptical, of the latest FIFA World Soccer Rankings, which has the U.S. ranked 6th (up 4 spots) ahead of France, England, Germany, Portugal, and Spain, among others."

FIFA world soccer rankings.
1. Brazil
2. Netherlands
3. Argentina
4. Czech Republic
5. Mexico
6. France
7. United States
8. Spain
9. Portugal

They were 5 last time I looked but they've fallen because the other teams in the top 10 play higher ranked teams in there qualifing matches, sort of like a college football team going down in the polls because they play in a shitty conference.Snarg, claudio Reyna is one of the best players in Europeon soccer, Kasey Keller is considered by many to be the best goalie in the world.Did you know this?Do you know anything about soccer or are you just talking out your ass?Surely you are not that dumb to challenge somebody when you dont have a clue what your talking about.

They beat mexico a couple months ago, they are ranked 5th.Is a team in the top 5 in the world considered mediocore?

they have never once beaten mexico in mexico

they cannot compete with the elite
and mexico has consistently been over-rated

Let me just say like this ....

Soccer is best in South America and Europe ....

US can stick with their Football .... And US in top 10 .... has to be bribes involved ...

Why do I keep this cesspool alive?

USA will win the world cup in the next 20 years.Chalk this up to another europeon thing america will take over. You guys(europe) had a good run but we've got 20 million youths playing a year and a growing professional league, its inevitable.

they are getting better and may do something in 20 yrs
but don't forget the last cup, they had high hopes
did not win a game after getting out of the first round, finished dead last of the 32 teams

The last cup was a joke I agree but that was almost a changing of the guard for the american team.Tab ramos etc were on that team out of respect for how they helped USA soccer. This years team is strictly top notch players with world league experience which they didnt have before.Landon donavon is one of the most dangerous forwards in the world. This will be the best US team ever.

Its striclty a numbers game, more people playing soccer than the total population of some europeon countries= world class players that take over eventually.Go ahead and ignore whats going on around you(sup Switzerland,Austria,The Netherlands circa WW2)
