Here's the lowdown:
- $5 buy in. We might be able to do PayPal. If not, you're sending the money to me.
- There are 32 slots. Pick the slot you'd like on a first come first serve basis. If you think 23 is lucky, ask for 23.
- When all 32 slots are full (if we don't get enough participation we might allow double buy ins) I will use this site http://www.random.org/sform.html to generate the numbers 1 - 32 in random order.
- The number that lines up next to your name is your order for picking the team you think will win the Super Bowl. Obviously, the lower your number the better chance you have of being able to pick a team you like, but then that's why it is random.
- Person with the winning team gets the money (I'd like to hear thoughts on donating a portion (25 or 50%) of the winnings to IT).
- There may be some smaller prizes for 2nd.
So the big question is one of interest. The buy in is cheap so you have no reason not too.
As it stands, all 32 spots are open. I will keep track in this thread of which spots get taken. It is first come first serve, so PM me if you're interested.
