Clay's Job
#21

BIRD33 Wrote:I think if you've followed it from the get go its pretty obvious who's behind it.
Do you see any other names mentioned? The guy who did it basically threatened to do the same thing already except he was going straight to law enforcement.
We all know Retard did it with some mod's help getting him the IP to track down the workplace. Hell, Retard was even logged into CF reading the thread and never posted. I say silence is acceptance.

Swamp Donkey.

He's got more mental issues than CJ.

SanDog Wrote:The case sited is not really relevant to this issue. As for legal standing, I would guess that would all depend on the TOS of the site in question, the way I read them you are wrong. What he posted is 1st ammendment protected, unless it was threats, and they cannot be construed that way based on tone and history, so your analogy does not jibe either.

You are entitled to your opinion, my CF compatriot, but we should really let the lawyers handle this.

It's a waste of time. If he wants to waste it...whatever. He's opening himself up to having his own e-activities put under a microscope, and under current legislation, CF could theoretically sue HIM for trolling.

That sucks Clay. I'm genuinely sorry to hear it.

I recently read about how several companies now do on-line background searches for potential employees. They google you, look up your myspace, etc., and try to find anything they can. I've since cleaned up my on-line persona, because no matter how private you might think you are, if there's shit about you on-line, there's not much short of encryption or total anonymity that will keep someone from finding it if they really want to.

That's why so many people use proxies now, however at work you are at the mercy of your IT guy. If they know their shit (and that's what these guys live for) you better not fuck around online at work.
I know my place monitors the net and most workplaces now do. It's not worth the risk. I only go on at lunch to check my fantasy Nascar or Football stats.
No chatting or forums.

"Writing annoying, anonymous online posts or e-mails could land you in jail for as long as two years. That's according to the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005."

Who's to say that the "annoyee" couldn't cause a boatload of LEGAL trouble for cLaY? I think we can all agree that cLaY can be quite an annoying fuck.

I think it sucks what happened to him. It's fucked up. But to say that he has ANY legal standing in this? Rolleyes I don't think so.

The fact is that he used company time and equipment for inappropriate (and arguably illegal) behavior. It doesn't matter who brought the matter to his employer's attention. That's like a drug dealer filing a civil suit against someone who turned him in to the police. Good luck.

Hurry back home, Taylor Rain posted another' Rank these cum sluts" thread.

Translation: I used to be a total e-slut but then realized I was e-slutting it with future employers.

Pre-order my book. I've written a bunch of material and we're currently shopping around for a publisher.

Okay, someone fill in the details to this story...here's what I got so far:

CLay is a giant fag. He came on to an even bigger fag who got upset and declared jihad. He found out that clay was sniffing coke off the boss's wife's ass and reported him? Now clay is out of a job and in possible legal trouble? Clay is now upset and wants to sue the would-be board for exposing his faggotry? He's also planning to quit message board and possibly the internet altogether? I miss anything?
