What do you think of the new lead singer? I don't think he sounds like Layne Staley per se, but with Jerry Cantrell doing backup vocals, there are DEFINITELY some similarities. I'm totally digging the new tune they've got out, I'd like to check out the rest of the album and see if it's as ass-kicking as this track.

Thanks for the heads up, MT. I've been a AIC fan since I was a wee lass, it's great to see they were able to carry on and still have their signature sound without Layne.

I think the reason William Duvall works is because he doesn't try to over do it. Jerry Cantrell was singing more on their last one with Layne already.

Oh yeah, almost all the songs that got radio play off the last Staley album had Cantrell on vocals. I always thought that was weird but I like Cantrell's sound so what can ya do?

Not as rockin' as we're used to from AIC but this will definitely get them a lot of mainstream airplay IMO...
