:rant: Fucking retards! I can't work with retards. I am the president of a completely volunteer board. There are 9 people besides me. I sent out this email:

When can everyone meet for a brief teleconference regarding the upcoming education session? March 16, 17 or 19th at 10:00am are you choices, please let me know.

I got back 3 responses:

March 18th.
March 16th at 4:00

So, I switch gears. I email them explaining what needs to be done.

Please let me know what date works best for you for the upcoming education session: May 8, 22 or 29. Once you have emailed the dates, I will let you know which one we are going with. I then need someone to make a motion to have our education session on that date.

There were the responses:

I'm pretty much known for hating meetings. I won't go to anything unless my input is directly needed and even then only if I decide it is. I'm on lots of committees and rarely attend anything. I do a lot of emailing and phone calls and lunch from time to time with people that I need to get things done with. But to sit in a room with a bunch of people around a conference table is 99% of the time a huge waste of everyone's time. Its just a place for people to hear themselves talk and try to sound smart.

The new thing is webinars which I hate with a passion.We all sit around our conference rooms monitor while we watch some dick who doesnt know how to sell for shit teach me how to sell certain products.The guys job is just to come up with power points so in order to justify his salary so we have one every few weeks.I sit there and text and read my phone for an hour and a half.
