I think bill is the only one that has stayed tried and true after becoming a mod or admin.. whatever the hell it is.


Shouldn't the mods/admins be trying to get new people here? Shouldn't they be helping leeman be all he can be? Shouldn't they at least post 10 times a day?

I've tried to get some new people to come here from smaller boards. They take one look and see how the board doesn't move and go running back to their place of origin. I can only do so much when it comes to that sorta thing.

Surprise, surprise, look who is whining again.

We all have reasons not to be online every day, or all the time. Things happen in life that take us away from the boards and make them not a priority. I am not apologizing for that.

As an admin, I feel it's a reasonable thing to do to let people know "hey, I'm not going to be around for a while, maybe not ever again" and then it's up to Leeman if he wants to decide to take away priviledges or not.

Sorry 8, I'm not making it my priority to recruit people. I do what I can to keep this board running and to get people coming here, but life gets in the way of message boards.

I just don't understand the point of calling people out. All of the admins and mods here have, at one time or another, been posting frequently, been getting threads moving and been trying to get people to particpate. Just like everyone else.

Dev - one of the first people at this board. He stopped coming around when his wife got pregnant. I think that is reasonable. He has asked several times to be de-admined, and Leeman has chosen to keep him on.

Velvet - She also said she is not coming back. Leeman kept her on, and I agree with that. There is no harm in it and she may well be back one day.

Banana - Banana was one of the reasons this board was moving really well about a year back. She came up with games and threads that were $$$. We don't know her reasons for leaving, but she is free to delete herself without having to answer to why. This is a message board.

Mich, Snarg, me - Well, life and work happens. But, we contribute when we can.

Bill - He hit the nail on the head. He posts and people tell him to shut up.


The bottom line is, membership and posting has taken a hit partially because we are not entirely welcoming here, and the admins have been talking about recruitment strategies the whole time. We never not have been.

It's a hard line to walk here between "taking the boards too seriously" and "not giving a fuck."
