question:

what do you think about getting a Ferrari? Something along the lines of a mid '80s 308 GTS or Testarossa for only $30-something K?

I'm not sure whether it would be retarded because it's so old, or cool because it's a timeless classic of Italian craftsmanship, like Travertine or glass mosaic tile.

hubba-hubba!

man, I so wish I still had my first car ever. It was a 318-powered '72 Plymouth Duster. I bought it in '89 for $1200 and got $300 for it as a trade-in a few years later. That thing would fetch several thou. nowadays, but more importantly, it'd be a fresh piece to have in my stable.

The dude across the street from me had a GTO...I don't know what year, but he totally restored it (numbers didn't match, but it was very beatiful). He sold it for $14K last year. He still has an awesome '69 Firebird. He's also a douchebag and afraid to actually drive it. He thinks all the "pigs" are out to get him when he's in it.
