I have wondered about dropping massive amounts of dry ice into the gulf that way it'll cool the waters and hurricanes won't get as strong..

Imagine being in Galveston back in 1900 when that big one hit. No weather reports. Nothing but a goddamn farmers almanac. Guys probably looking outside and saying, "Man, looks like it might rain tonight".

The chic governor in Louisiaunaouina has already asked the President to declare her state a disaster zone from Rita. Five fucking days early. Last time she waited until like five days after the storm, this time they don't even know if it will hit her state.
She should just ask for it to be a permanent disaster zone so she doesn't have to figure out when to call.

in fact, before the galveston disaster, there was a meteorologist who saw it ocming
he told everyone not to worry, it was no big deal

detonating an atomic bomb just in the middle of that thing will prolly fuck it up too (or transform it into a radioactive hurricane).
