Here are some details for the Chicago trip. I need to know who is coming for sure so we can book hotel rooms and buy the tickets for the Cubs game. Foolery and I will try and foot the bill until you fukkers show up. There is a stipulation though:
IF YOU SAY YOU WILL BE THERE...ONCE THE ROOM AND THE BASEBALL GAME TICKETS ARE PURCHASED.....YOU OWE THE $$$$. NO EXCUSES.
It's the weekend of Sept. 16, 17 and 18th. Hotel rooms checking in Sept 16th and checking out Sept 18th. If we stay right there downtown (walking distance) rooms are $110.00 per room (up to 4 people per room that the hotel knows about). If we stay 20 miles away (we'd have to get rental car/taxi etc.) rooms are $37.00 per room (up to 4 per room that the hotel knows about).
Cubs game Saturday 17th vs. St. Louis Cardinals. Tickets are between $45.00 and $60.00 ea. come in seat blocks of 6, unless we buy bleacher tickets, but right now those are $89.00 ea. If anyone knows where to get tickets for less loot, send me a PM.
I imagine friday and saturday we will hit the downtown bars, so bring some cash. A few people mention playing some golf; with the cubs game being saturday afternoon, golf would have to be sunday morning, so it depends on how many want to do that.
Please let me or Foolery know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements. Also if everyone wants the expensive rooms and the expensive tix to the game we might need some cash up front as that cost would be approching 2k if 10 people showed up.
