Secretary: Can I leave paper clips on the stuff I shred in the shredder?

Banana: Sure. (we leave the little paper clips on all the time)

Secretary: But, they are the great big clips

Banana: well then take them off

Secretary: Have you shredded with the big ones on before?

Banana: No. You can't. Take them off.

Secreatary: I don't want to.

Banana: *Blank stare*

I wasn't sure where to go from there.

Tell her to run her head through the shredder to make sure it will take the big paperclips.

One of my co-workers got a bagel stuck in the toaster, and she didn't know how to get it out. I told her to take a metal knife and pry it out.

10 seconds later I had to physically grab her arm to stop her from sticking a butterknife in the motherfucker.

I gurantee that if you put the paper clips in to the paper shredder then it will mess it up. they are not supposed to have the metal things going through them or they break. i know that is going to mess it upand she is going to be in trouble.

good to see you ernie, tgif, eh??
go and change some titles for fun

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.
