So I'm hanging out on the deck last night and my pony comes over to the fence to check out whats going on. Well my kids are in the yard playing on the swingset and stuff. When they come running up on the deck screaming something is wrong with Rusty. (the pony) I go to investigate and it turns out he was just "letting it all hang out". So I just blew it off and says it's his ding-a-ling. which was good enough for them at the time. This morning My 4 year old asked me to turn down the car radio so we could "talk". she asked why Rusty has a ding-a-ling....I told her I'd explain it to her this evening when we got home, cause we were just pulling into the daycare. (thank god). any suggestions on how to handle this one?

She may forget about it tonight. If she doesn't just tell her it's so he can go potty. I don't know?

just tell her he's a boy horse...at that age...in preschool kids are slightly aware there's a difference..that's should be sufficient...
they know boys have "wee wee's" and girls have teenie/tiny "wee wee's" (okay dad, or just let mrs bill handle it)
