I've been shopping for a cheap secondary surround system for my basement bar...it doesn't have to be super nice or anything just something to add to my bigscreen. the bigscreen actually doesn't see much use, the playstation is hooked up to it and we occasionally watch a movie on it but other than that we mostly watch tv in my living room and I have a really nice RCA system in there...long story short, local place has these on sale and was thinking about picking one up anybody familiar with how they sound?

For the money those are good ....

But look at E-bay ... there you can get a set for same or less money WITH a DVD that you can sell at our store

I looked into ebay but local place has'um on sale for a little over 150....hard to beat.

Some may cringe at this idea but if I were you I would hit up a few pawn shops. You can find some quality shit in those places for a great price! Hell it may be hot but you bought it legal so it really don't matter. :d

nothing wrong with package systems....everyone said I was crazy buy'in my "good" system as a box set...now that it's installed everyone cann't believe how good it sounds...600 watts goes a long way in a small room.

OH. Well the ones around here ain't so bad. I have gotten some good shit for cheap outta those places. Hell DVD's are 4 buck a piece at most of the shops down here. I got a 36" RCA television for my kids room for 225.00. Thing is like new and working great for a year now.
