I've never been a Kolb guy but there is no way I can say he's not a good QB yet.I predicted this outcome in training camp so it is no surprise to me except the fact that Vick and him split snaps in week 1.That was sabotage on Kolb.The reason we traded Mcnabb was not to eventually start Mike Vick.We actively tried to trade him all the way up to the last week of camp.In trading Mcnabb the Eagles were saying winning 10 games and getting to the playoffs is not enough which I thought was the right move.Now we are back to hoping we win 10 games and make the playoffs.Why did we trade Mcnabb if thats our goal again?

Kolb played one half of football against the packers who have a great defense.Vick played the second half against a packers team that never game planned for him and then kicked the shit out of a terrible lions team.Not enough for me to say Kolb sucks.Either way we wasted a #2 pick on Kolb without really seeing what he can do.

Two things in this thread I've been 100% on point about.

1.The Moss trade was a great deal for the Pat's.A third round pick for a guy who ended up playing two games.

2.Mcnabb is done.Shanahan didnt draft Mcnabb so he's not afraid to reveal what I've been preaching for years.Mcnabb is a choke artist of the highest order.There have been so many two minute drills to end a game that he's shit the bed on through the years its ridiculous.The superbowl where he puked and the NFC championship game against AZ where he couldnt get a first down on the Cardinals 40 are just the most famous.Slowly the media is turning from "Philly is a mean town that ran a great QB off!They will regret this!" to "It turns out Donovan has tempo problems" which is a nice way to say "He really sucks when the pressure is on".

Even though the Birds suck this year and I'm forced to root for a dog murderer this has been a fairly enjoyable NFL season with the Favre soap opera and Mcnabb getting exposed nationally as the entitled baby\overrated QB he always was.
