not really the only drawback is that it will be prohibited to smoke during any dinner.
oh and no candles as well.
Otherwise it may taste as opossum so they may even find it tasty.

Its 50 miles out of Venice which is four hours south of here. I have a customer that plans on losing 20% of their business because they were on this rig.

8-serious question. What are your thoughts on off shore drilling now?I'd imagine they havent changed knowing you but I just read about how Jindals taking a huge hit because he was so gung ho on getting more oil rigs on the gulf around Louisiana.I was surprised by that. Are people mad at him there or is this just chalked up to it being an accident?

I'm with you on this bird. This is unacceptable. We can't keep having all these accidents all the time. Lets pull in all the platforms and shut down offshore drilling. Its the best way to stop the frequent offshore accidents.
I'm pretty sure we can just buy our oil from other countries now a days.
Jindal has screwed himself. I won't be surprised if he doesn't finish his term as governor.

Ok.Classic misreading on your part.
I've never been opposed to off shore drilling in the US.Just to the notion that doing so will solve our oil crisis completely and that there is no need to concentrate scientific efforts on alternative fuels. My question didnt even contain a criticism of Jindal or off shore drilling. So now that your temper tantrum has abated can I get the real temperature of LA residents in relation to Jindal because like I wrote (if you indeed read it) I read that Jindal is taking a hit popularity wise because of this accident. Please respond once your tears dry, thanks.

As I said.. Jindal screwed himself way before this. Most feel that he treats his "Governorship" as a part time job... not an office or full time job. He has made no budget cuts and hurt education. I believe he will resign from his post before his term is over.
I stated my thoughts on offshore drilling earlier. Lets pull all the rigs out and drive electric cars. Its better for the environment.

The amount of money spent on oil spill clean-ups "worldwide" for the past 23 years: $63.2 BILLION. That is $2.7 BILLION annually. Imagine that! That's equivalent to an EXXON VALDEZ event every year!
The amount of money Obama has spent in the last 15 months: $800+ BILLION! That's 19.75 Exxon Valdez events every MONTH! Imagine that!

8 two quick questions.
#1 Do you think Cheyney should have to testify in his role in crafting energy policy with oil company executives behind closed doors while at the whitehouse?Isnt it strange to only consult people on one side of an issue in a matter that could benefit their corporation greatly?
#2 Say you discover oil in some town underneath a historic school house thats still in use.1000's of gallons of oil a day could be pumped. Not enough to make a dent in our domestic oil consumption but still a good amount. The issue in this case is the school being a historic site similar to a natural treasure like say an ocean where people live and fish cannot be closed.Would it be worth it in your mind to still drill for oil at this important historical site while children go to school around it?Would it be worth it to put those childrens lives at risk and the historical building at risk to pump oil even though it doesnt make much of a difference in the average price of oil if we do?
