Everyday after work lets out people stop at the gas station to buy beer. They sell it in every size too.
Yesterday I stopped in to buy some powerball tickets (100M) and I was fifth in line... the first guy had a 22oz can, 2nd guy had a 12oz long neck bottle, 3rd guy had a case of natural light, 4th guy had a 22oz can, and then there was me.
It starts about 3:30.. usually its the straight blue collar and they buy what they can afford. I was in line behind someone that asked for the cheapest pack of cigarettes they had Tuesday. It cost him $2.15.... I don't even know what the name brand was.
Most of you have liquor stores that are separate right? you can't buy your alcohol in grocery stores and gas stations right?

In texas you can buy beer and wine in gas stations and convenience stores. Liquor stores are usually attached to some gas stations, but separate.
We also have the amazing "Drive Thru Beer Barns". Where you can drive thru, buy your beer (even kegs) and never get out of the truck. I think they are there for those drunk drivers that are always on the go. I love you.

No beer or wine in grocery stores.Pizza places that sell beer are basically the same as a convenience stores.Beer by the case has its own store as does liquor stores.I go to the same pizza parlor and buy a 12 pack before golf.I havent eaten there in a decade.

Oh hell, in Texas you can buy beer and wine just about anywhere. When you check out at the Valero station, they usually have big ol' coolers overflowing with beer near the register so when you're waiting for the woman at the counter to scratch off her 5th lottery ticket to see if she won and can just turn it in for 5 more you can grab a beer and drink it until it's your turn.

in switzerland you can buy liquor, cigs and whatever else in supermarket and we have those shops where you can buy newspapers,cigs (and such), rolling paper, alcohol, chocolate, mints, ...)
You can buy cigs and alchool in bar and restaurants too (there is some stupid law who forbid people to sell alcool at night but only if you only sell that, so basically bar started to sell "give away" beers and so. without counting that in fact police got something else to do than checkin who buys alcool

You can buy it in Iowa almost anywhere. Even on Sundays.
