I was thinking about this last night and I think there are 3 ways this plays out.
Donaghy gets wacked before he goes to prison.
Donaghy gets wacked in prison.
Donaghy gets a deal and enters witness protection and is never heard from again.
I'm thinking of making a wager with some friends.Which is the most likely?

Is it weird that the mob ratted him out? Why would they do that? Now he's just gonna turn on all of them and give everyone up.
Something still doesn't seem right.
I guess I'd bet on him spilling his guts and then going the witness protection route.

Mob aint what it used to be,at least the Philly mob isnt. They keep calling the guy who ratted on Donaghy a "wannabe mobster" so I'm guessing the guy got arrested for something and dimed out the ref to help himself. Its similar to something that happened near me that I read in the paper over the weekend.Guy gets caught pissing on a car, why he was doing that I don't know.Anyway the guys on probation and the cops going to lock him up so he gives the name of his pot dealer to the cop which starts an investigation that ends up netting 30 people.I'm leaning towards he gets killed before he goes to prison.

I can't remember, is there a connection to the Philly mob with Donaghy? Any chance the 6ers are somehow involved?

I believe he was placing bets with a philly guy on everything and got in debt and was forced to give information and fix games to get out of it.I read he was even losing money betting on his own golf matches. He reffed something like 700 games so I bet he fixed a few 76ers games. It would be so easy to call a game real tight and put the teams on the foul line to push the total score over what it was set at.

I heard on the radio this morning that in something like 60 or 70 percent of his games, the teams scored more points than vegas expected.

I havent heard Donaghy say he's innocent.Vick is claiming he is.Vick is a fucking dumbass. It would be hard for the NFL to not get sued and probably lose if they made vick sit out without doing a indepth investigation.I don't think the NFL will let him play until he's found innocent but since the guys claiming he didnt do anything they have to give him some room.

Can PHX claim a redo and play San Antonio again.
I'd like to see my prediction on a championship come true.

Watched some of Sterns press conference yesterday. He's a smooth operator and came off overall pretty good by repeating over and over it was just one rogue official. One thing I noticed is that he never apoligized to the fans which is kind of bullshit.
Whose in the worst spot, the NFL, NBA or MLB commsioner?
I say the NFL because Vick was one of the faces of the NFL and has basically blown up the Atlanta Falcons for the next 5 years.Plus this legal shit is not going away and makes for ugly press.

I think the NFL can distance themselves easier than the other 2.
The Refs are hired by the league. Every game he did is now in doubt.
Too many players have the steriod tag associated with it. Also, the biggest record is now in question.
With Vick the NFL seems to have teflon with their players.

Selig did the right thing by going to the game. Say what you will but the homer and steroids saved baseball.
NFL can't babysit their players.
I heard Stephen A Smith justifying the refs actions this way.
He said that refs "only" make 90 to 500K a year and they have to ref players making millions.
terrible
