I haven't been many places, but I have to say my own backyard is most appealing. Mexico is beautiful because of the ocean and weather, but for me, this is awesome to see everyday when I leave my house...
I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk. A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind. A need to return to genuine practice, right effort. Need to push on the great doubt. Need for the spirit. Hang on to the clear light. Thomas Merton
Pinehurst was pretty cool. The Phoenician was really nice. The Ritz Carlton at Laguna Nigal was really nice. Lake Tahoe is fun. But my most favorite place that we have been was the Broadmore in Colorado Springs.

That hotel is really cool though. We'd eat at the hotel and then sit out on the porch and drink and smoke cigars at night.
I don't know anything about
the best courses
.
If the best courses #8 or #2 that they had the Open at a few years ago is, then I'll be very surprised.Oh. "I hope that your dreams come true" hotel is really cool ?
Makes sense to me. If you could have any kind of robot what would it be?

#2 is the best, thats where the the Open is held.I was talking to the caddies and I mentioned that I was suprised I was holding my own on #2 because it didnt seem that long and they told me that when its open to the general public they make it real easy, wider fairways, low rough etc.. so they can get more people through for more $$.I played #5 the next day and it was 10 X's harder than #2.I sat out back at the pool after the first day and had some beers before we went to this greek place in town for the best\most expensive dinner Ive ever been apart off.10 people,5 courses and god knows how many bottles of wine = more than a couple grand.I stole every Pinehurst note pad they had in the rooms and still am using them at work.
Jamaica was one of the coolest places that I've visited. Of course, we were only there for a few hours, but it was beautiful. It was weird, all of the locals try to sell you shit everywhere you turn around. We (several couples) were in this little street market, and I bet I had 5 guys try to sell me weed in 20 minutes. They all called me "Chuck Norris". "Hey Chuck, chuck norris. You like to party mon?"

Ha! I went to a greek dinner one night (I didn't pay, so have no idea what the bill was). Anyway, what I remember most about it was how many courses they served. Course after course. I remember at the end they brought out a little bowl of water to wash your fingers off in.

we went twice... 7 days all inclusive
very nice. each time we took one day to goto the markets and buy stuff. I bought some $$$ ironwood canes and random things. its pretty much all the same crafts there though. no one has anything new to offer.
we did visit the appleton estate. that was awesome. after the tour they line up 40 different kinds of rum and you can drink as much of them as you want. I ended up buying a bottle of the "Estate Rum" to bring home. It is fucking $$$! I can't find it anywhere now...
Bora Bora, Tahiti, most beautiful hands down, but I love Maui and Jamaica's Duns River Falls was totally fun and cool.
This summer I'm thinking about going up the coast for about a week with some friends, stopping in Santa Barbara, Monterey and Carmel and ending up in San Francisco.
