I would shit kittens if that was my kitchen. I'm cursed with the curse to fix, update, upgrade, and overbuild everything and that kitchen would send me to a fucking insane asylum.
*edit: do you need the number for my tile & granite Russians?

Pretty much where I am as far as fix-up/upgrade mentality with about 60% of this crib. Maybe 70%.
To your edit: I WILL want that with the new house after selling this one. Not dumping 30k into a website oops, um, er a new kitchen then selling. Just gonna make it look nice on the cheap.

Mmh looks like you had severe problem of water infiltration. honestly you can't get back your floor by only mopping it. You need to abraze the wood with a machine, then put a few layers of nourishing cream for the wood then some taint maybe if you want to get it looking nice then finish with a few protective layers.
I still don't understand people who puts hugly things like cheap linoleum on a perfectly noble and beautiful material like the wood.
Btw your floor is looking cheap too, it's more cigarette paper wood-looking tiles than real wood of real quality.

N, this is the SUB floor. It's not a floor to be displayed. It's been covered since the house was built over 70 years ago.
The mopping was to get the remnants of the glued paper covering off the subfloor. I've been working hard on getting it clean and prepped because I don't just want to lay a new floor over a dirty, nasty old floor. The floors in the living room, dining room, stairs and upstairs hallway are wood and nicely finished if you want to see them. But I'm not doing that to the kitchen floor.
