I just don't understand the point of calling people out. All of the admins and mods here have, at one time or another, been posting frequently, been getting threads moving and been trying to get people to particpate. Just like everyone else.

Dev - one of the first people at this board. He stopped coming around when his wife got pregnant. I think that is reasonable. He has asked several times to be de-admined, and Leeman has chosen to keep him on.

Velvet - She also said she is not coming back. Leeman kept her on, and I agree with that. There is no harm in it and she may well be back one day.

Banana - Banana was one of the reasons this board was moving really well about a year back. She came up with games and threads that were $$$. We don't know her reasons for leaving, but she is free to delete herself without having to answer to why. This is a message board.

Mich, Snarg, me - Well, life and work happens. But, we contribute when we can.

Bill - He hit the nail on the head. He posts and people tell him to shut up.


The bottom line is, membership and posting has taken a hit partially because we are not entirely welcoming here, and the admins have been talking about recruitment strategies the whole time. We never not have been.

It's a hard line to walk here between "taking the boards too seriously" and "not giving a fuck."
