The large, corrupt, liberal, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Social Equality, Defence, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 17%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Information Technology.

Military spending is on the increase, same-sex marriages are increasingly common, the government is avowedly atheist, and employers may fire workers without giving any reason. Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Insanetrain's national animal is the ferret, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the testicles.

Insanetrain is ranked 10th in the region and 46,236th in the world for Largest Furniture Restoration Industry.
