it was always my impression that we don't have a bar to set

people get offended and leave all the time
i have nothing to say about any of that
i was not, and am not, suggesting setting any bar or setting any precedents; rather, i am using my vioice here to express an opinion
and everyone knows what opinions are like, i should hope
