Also I rescind my liking of Charles Barkleys comments after watching him this weekend.He's turrible.He simply has no clue what he's talking about and you can tell by how much he's looking down at his notes.He also doesnt suit the collegiate athlete type critique's he's there to make.He wants to be mean and sarcastic but its tough to do and not look like a jerk when its mostly just kids who will never turn pro and this is the peak of their career.

Got a buddy of mine that lives in San Fran... we went to college together and are besties (ghey right?) even though we are polar opposites on all of our sports teams. Dude is a huge UNC fan and he always calls to talk shit when they beat duke. Wouldn't you know that I got a text from him on March 5th at 9:52 saying "There goes that one seat. Way to choke coach k. Go unc!"

My response was "Haters gonna hate"

So last night I waited until after 9pm and sent him the following "I saw on ESPN they are changing the name of the ACC tourney to The Coach K Invitational"

I'm still waiting on his response.

I called my 10 year old nephew who wore a Tyler Hainsboro jersey to my last soccer game to annoy me a few minutes before tipoff sunday and he wouldnt take my call.I left him a message on xbox live after the game reminding him to congratulate coach K and Duke for winning the ACC tourney 10 out of the last 13 years and asked him for one good reason they still hold an ACC tournament.

They looked good because they were hitting their threes and they've taken the ball handling responsibilities out of Curry's hands.I worry about them versus Connecticut.

I like Marquette to win easily over Xavier.

I also like USC over Georgetown

I'm guessing you heard seth davis say he liked Marquettes zone defense to befuddle Xaiver like I did.

I'm not sure about USC.That team is reeling after the coach and his young wife got in that drunken fight.I really believe that incident is a good chuck of the reason they got relegated to a play in game.Plus Georgetown played some serious teams during the regular season.

IF St. Johns gets by Gonzaga the match up with BYU will be one of the best games of the tourney.It will be a team of 80% virgins vs. a team where 80% of the players have kids over the age of 3.

My call.Kevin Oneil has lost that team or never had them in the first place.

These play in games have no juice and really make no sense.Why does a 14 seed get an easier road to the final four by playing one less game than a 11 seed?Whats the advantage of being an 11 seed over a higher seed?If its nothing or in fact a disadvantage what exactly does the seeding mean?

Its not ok if its not true but its not racist either way if they are both black.I watched the show and it was sort of clear Jalen Rose was speaking about his attitude at the time.Its not clear if jimmy King is speaking in past or present tense.From what I've seen Rose is trying to walk it back and King is just a dumbass.I don't like Jason Whitlock but his column on the matter is pretty good.If you watched the show it made it seem like 5 black kids from the inner city never started on a college team before.Whitlock's point is that Georgetown was that team not Michigan and Georgetown actually won championships.The premise that Michigan changed basketball is off.They changed styles for sure.I wear black socks when I play ball and that started with Michigan.
