I'd like to see a snopes ruling on that report, and I sure hope its bullshit. If a team of russians had been to the sea floor right after the explosion to examine the leak, why would we be just now hearing about it? That has to be a troll job story.

shit, i forgot this is the thread that 8ter has banned himself from and he can't post in it. I thought he would be glad to know that there is growing momentum for his idea to stop the leak with a nuclear bomb.

Its a hilarious turn of events that he's run from this thread which I'm sure he's reading diligently.
If the sea floor is fractured and they have to Nuke it how do you think it will be spun that this is all obama's fault since it was a private company that fucked it all up?Thats one dilemma.Next is who the fuck wants to live near the coast when that fucker goes off?It won't be safe to eat fish for years I'd imagine.

Okay, for this one I'm going to have to put on my BIRD33 hat.
Alright. We are going to find out that one Day 1 the russians went down and first hand saw the extent of the problem. Very shortly, Obama was given the drastic news. That it would probably take a nuclear bomb to seal off the well since it wasn't leaking from a pipe, but the pipe had burst way below the ocean floor and the oil was coming up through multiple fractures in the seabed with no chance to seal it off.
Obama got scared. Didn't want to be a president that set off a nuclear bomb. And didn't want to disrupt the oil production from the gulf by going to that drastic of a measure. So he decided to plan a series of short term solutions, knowing that none would probably work, but they would carry some time until the relief wells could be drilled.
There was still a chance a relief well would solve it. There will be documents uncovered to show a conspiracy and attempts to cover up the situation and what Obama knew. It will consume him and his time fighting all of the bullshit.
How's that?

If "extraordinary measures" can fix the leak then it's not really "beyond all repair". The very fact he contradicts himself is reason enough to question the validity of his report.

I have not read all this thread. So, I may be talking out of my ass. But, I hope all of you are thinking of us down here in the South. I live less than 100 miles from the Gulf Coast. This is the beach I grew up at, and now take my kids to every summer. We have so many memories here and continue to make new ones. I went down last weekend. The water was beautiful. And the sand was white. But for how long? This is the BIGGEST (man made) DISASTER the Gulf has ever seen and it is still going on. It is beyond me. They are ruining our beaches and wild life. It will never be the same. It just doesn't seem to be a big deal to some people!?!?!?!
