It is a different area then the rest of California I've been to.I stayed mostly by the convention center which is pretty nice but she took me back to her place which seemed to be a blue collar type of neighborhood.

"Different" is a good way of putting it. The convention Ctr. area is amazing but most of Long Beach is blue collar. Maybe thats why I like it -v- the OC. It's real...
