Its not time to talk about firing Belichek.The team did trade its best offensive player besides the QB mid season.He lost the mental battle to Rex.Benching Welker was a mistake.The pats were too tight.

He and Brady will get a pass in New England until Brady retires.Its not a football town so as long as they stay relevant and brady keeps those flowing locks shiny the town won't give a shit.Most of them didnt even know they had a team until 2007.

Also its just totally a coincidence that Crennel, Weis and McDaniels have been utter failures as head coaches since the cheating scandal.

no one wants to fire belichick. actually there were a handful of idiots calling the radio stations saying that he's been here so long that "his message is getting stale" and there needs to be a change. one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. I think he was the coach of the year this year, considering what happened with Moss and how he completely changed the offense on the fly and got a lot out of an absurdly young defense. It just seems that now, when the chips are on the line, he's getting outcoached. It's just puzzling because that's the matchup we were always able to check off in our favor without even thinking about it.

I think you're right that they're maybe a little tight in these games. Could be a reflection of not having guys like Bruschi, Vrabel, McGinnest, or even Troy Brown around anymore. Who knows. Everyone is kind of looking for answers right now.
