If you think China had a say in the bailout you're crazy. No one has reported that but I guess you're on top of it up in the north pole. They need us to rebound so they had to sit on their hands and hope we did the right thing for us to stabilize the value of their investment. If they pulled their money out at a loss where would they go that they would be able to invest in the same large scale they can here, your piss ant country?

Its not comparing apples to oranges when talking about different countries economies compared to ours. This sentence tells it all.
"But here it helps that the ratio of government debt to GDP in the U.S. runs to about 62%. For the eurozone, it's 75%; for Japan, 180%."

Keep riding our coattails while openly trashing us but secretly being obsessed with our culture. Its pathetic but we are used to it and kind of laugh at you dicks like that annoying cousin everyone has.

well well well...

first of all I'm not obsessed with the US culture, I do think that sometimes my yogourth got more of that.

Second of all you may wonder but in fact he Euro zone got stronger and diversified economies than in the US who apart California and some Eastern states is a vast empty economical desert (Oklahoma ?)

Thirdly Europe is expanding on the eastern states (the old russian satellite states). this may goign to be problematic in a few years (see russia is going to be pushy because of that closeness)but right now EU laws and regulations are getting into those people's minds; and they just need everything there. Bet it it's a new fantastatic new market of people needing fridges, cars, computer services...

I saw the other week a footage on a group of investors who build a fish factory near the Oural Sea who was abinding to EU regulations on that matter "so they could have simpler access to EU market". That is pushing EU domination deeper in the spirit of people than any mass bombing or help that US could ever do (I mean that's what you were trying to do in Irak no? )

You hit the nail on the head with Russias relationship to the EU.It will be the riskier play to switch to the Euro over the dollar because something like Russia fucking with one of their satellites could destabilize a good portion of the region. That can't happen to the American dollar. We did our worse with Iraq and we still arent in a hole we can't climb out of.We had huge economic growth from 96 till about 3 years ago and you can not argue that Europe didnt ride our coattails. You can't sustain that type of growth forever but if you look at America's track record over the last 100 years only a fool would assume we won't have that type of growth again so switching from the dollar could potentially cost a country billions eventually.

100 years ago you were still struggling to get the railroad to cross the entire country.

So far it's not in the interest of anybody not to have a general and good economical development of the ex-urss satellites, from EU point of view or Russian's one.Europe because it develops there and Russia because they sell them (and europe) a ton of gas and oil.

As for your growth most of it was due on the fact that your debt is libelled in your currency so nobody had a real interest in having the $ going down the sink because it would means that the would just have a bunch of useless paper.

Don't forget that prior WWII america wasn't that much of a superstate. it's after WWII and the Europe having to rebuild entirely that it leaved room for russia and you to play along.

100 years ago we were reaping the benefits of the industrial revolution which we started and enabled you to be more than a goat herder today.

So without WWII we wouldnt have been the #1 steel producer or #1 agricultural producer?I'm pretty sure all of our natural resources had more to do with that but whatever makes you feel less inferior.

Don't you think its in the best interest of Russia to destabilize the EU as much as possible so as to be the dominant organization in that area? Its not like Russia has to worry about you guys not buying gas from them in good times or bad.Wasnt half of what Russia was doing in Georgia was to reassert their dominance over europe and keep anybody from getting any ideas about Georgia becoming apart of europe?
