I'm not around much. I am relegated to the role of child care provider by nature of my sex alone.

I'm bitter. Jimmy got the ball team and the baby. I just got the baby.

Oh, I'm not. When the teams losses, at least it's not my fault.

She's played. She loses touch with reality when she touches a keyboard.

On a plus note, My bat is back!!!! 7 for 8 Sunday and 6 for 8 the previous Sunday. I knocked their shortstop out of the game with a screaming grounder that he couldn't handle and fucked up his wrist. Better than the usual occurance of the SS throwing me out at first laughing.

Weather's been good too.

Oh yeah. Of the 70-some innings that have been played, I HAVE indeed played about 10. Thanks for that correction Jimmy.

By the way, Happy Birthday Eh.

If there was a word with stronger emphasis than destroyed than thats what we did to the team we played last night.Game starts at 10:15(ridiculous) against a team we know sucks but didnt realize how bad.First inning we bat around three times(I lead off with a double and get another after that and a single) and heres the amazing part..Our right fielder who's really not that bad of a player ends up making all three outs in the inning.Have you ever seen that before?Worst part was he flies out twice and the last one he has the balls to try to get a walk after the rest of the team has batted 29 times succesfully and he gets called out with the backwards K to end the inning. It was pretty funny. We spent a maximum 10 minutes out of 50 in the field. The biggest victory they had was getting one person on third.I play first and I usually average 8 or nine put outs a game and last night I had one.Game only lasted 5 innings because we mercy ruled them 25-0.

5 for 7,3 RBI's,5 runs scored. We play the same team next thursday which is the eve of 4th of July so thats going to be a drunkfest.

Sunday we played a team that was 6-0.We jumped out to a 9 run lead in the first. The scorekeeper was also on their team so the guy comes over and starts complaining about how sloppy our lineup card is and how its hard to read after we get up a few runs. Our manager was on first so the guy is basically complaining to people who have nothing to do with the lineup so I tell him to quit his bitching and get out of our dugout. This does not go over well. We're in the field next inning and all the sudden the scorekeeper tells the ump to check out how short we are in the outfield. If a chicks up you can only go so far up in the outifield and there are cones to mark how far up.Everyone is behind the cone but on this particular field there are stakes in the ground for the centerfielders to be behind. It took the ump 2 or 3 minutes to find the stake but when he did we were in front of them. The penalty is that the next regular batter(non chick or old guy) the outfielders have to return to where they were standing when the chick was at bat.So the batter basically gets a free shot to hit the ball over our outfielders for a 3 run homer. They get a lead on us because of that.

They had a lot of hitters who could direct their ball so they kept picking on our chick outfielders and chipped away at our lead. They went up 15 to 11 in the 3rd.I moved to the outfield to stop them from using our weakness(females) to score.Game goes into the last inning and we need 2 runs to tie and I'm up.For some reason they put a chick on third so I get up there and practically lay a bunt up the third base side for a single.I've got monsters behind me so we hit two home runs after that and go up 3 runs. We're in the field and just need three outs.Fly ball dropped, line drive dropped and a ground ball booted. Our fielding sucked balls. We end up losing 24-23.3-4, 3 runs scored.I'm back up in the high .500's.

0.I'm the lead off hitter and I've got the weakest part of our lineup behind me so they are rarely on base.I lead our team in runs scored every season.I'm a Jimmy Rollins type of player.

We needed to sweep our double header to seal a playoff spot and thats just what we did.I would describe my performance somewhere between stellar and godly.

First game the pitcher for some reason was throwing chest high balls which are usually illegal but are right in my wheelhouse.I was line driving balls to the right all game.My team was kind of asleep for the middle part of the game.We are down 3 going into the top of the 7th and some how had a two out rally with the weakest part of our line up to tie it up.We hold them in the bottom of the 7th and then start the extra innings with a chick on second by league rules.I'm up and I hit a triple to knock the chick in and then I get knocked in on a sac fly.We hold them to one run before we end the game 14-13.3-4, 3 runs scored, 1 RBI, 1 triple.

Second game was a little easier. We jumped on them quick with me scoring in the first. The two guys in our 4 and 5 slots are the best hitters in our league so I just need to get on base and I'm scoring. Our quitest player some how got ejected for mouthing off to the ump so I was forced to move to center field which I proceded to lock down.We called the other team babys for intentionally walking our 4 and 5 and a mini shit talking fest ensued.Thats about as exciting as it got.We rolled them 8-4.2-3,1 walk, 2 runs scored.

I'm back up to the .600's where I belong.
