No this ain't about pussy. How about a Mahi Boil?
While on vacation we did a little fishing. We showed up at the dock around 6:30. A 42 foot Hatteras. Pura Vida. Nice boat.

So we spend about an hour or so going out around 23 miles. We get out there, it is freaking beautiful. I mean, if we don't catch a fish the whole day, it would still be worth the G we are dropping for this boat. There are 3 of us, two of my best buddies and me. We start trolling, we get a few bites and reel in couple of decent King Mackerel. 3 footers or so. Easy reel.
Then we see a few Mahi jumping out back, we have 6 lines in the water using Frozen bait (thawed of course). We get hit. We bring it in (fun bugger) and it is around 42 inches, good size, and a beauty.
So we continue and all the sudden we get hits on three lines. I mean crazy fucking hits. We start bringing them in, and the other 3 lines get hit. We got 4 guys (the mate was helping at this point) and 6 fish going. The captain, a 20 year old kid (had I known that we probably would not have done this with him, that god we did not know) starts cracking up.
We are all busy but someone says "what is funny?" Dude goes "check out under the boat.
We all look down, and there are just massive amouts of Mahi right off the stern.

So we get all the fish in, we drop some bait in, and as soon as it hits the water, we get hit. We run out of thawed bait, we start using pieces of frozen, I mean heads, tails, parts of body, it does not matter, these stupid fish are eating it up. We can't get our lines out fast enough.
This goes on for 45 minutes we max out. 10 Mahi per guy. We got 40, so we figure if we get ganked by the man we will tell him the mate is with us.
The deck of the boat is soaked in blood, this was after a few cursory sprays of the hose, so it is not all there....but you get the point.

So we stay out a while longer trolling for sail fish and we get nothing. The capt. tells us this is the best day he has had all year. Never seen a Mahi boil. We got bageled the rest of day, and came in. About 125 lbs.

We gave away most, took the rest back for a fish grill/fry, excellent tacos. This made up for the last 4 charters I was on that got skunked.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?
