Chapel Hill, N.C. — Chapel Hill police arrested UNC basketball player Ty Lawson early Friday after stopping a car he was driving and determining he had been drinking, they said.

Police also charged the 20-year-old sophomore with violating a city noise ordinance and driving with a suspended or revoked license. It was unclear why his license had been revoked.

Lawson was arrested at 2:33 a.m. A police officer stopped him o­n North Columbia Street after hearing loud music coming from the car, authorities said.

Whats up with the Timberwolves?They're like every teams best friend when it comes to trades.First the Celts now the Sixers.We gave up two losers for cap space but I don't see how that helps the Wolves.I know they're saving up for 2010 but its not like they are going to get Lebron.

the Sixers sent swingman Rodney Carney, veteran center Calvin Booth, a protected first-round draft pick and cash to Minnesota for a conditional second-round draft pick. The Timberwolves used a $2.8 million trade exception gained from a trade last December with Miami to make the finances match.

All they got was a 2nd rd pick.It was all about freeing cap space.Basically they gave booth\Carney and probably a 15 or 16th pick in the draft.I'm not sure what Mchales thinking.
