Today I played tennis with a beautiful single mom I know. She coyly said, "I have a new boyfriend."

Turns out there is some sort of local dating service where single/divorced/widowed men pay twenty thousand dollars a year to belong. No lie! The service goes out and finds suitable women. The woman is called, gets a description of the man, but no picture, and is given his phone number. She calls if she feels like it.

My girlfriend has gone on about five of these dates and described the fabulous restaurants and zillion dollar homes these men live in.

The service costs the women nothing. Nothing is expected of these women beyond what she would do on a normal date. My g/f did kiss a couple of them. She had sex with none of them and didn't feel obligated. She has ended up with one gorgerous, wealthy man--her new boyfriend.
