Victory is Sweet - Banana - 09-20-2004

Despite our best efforts to fuck it up, the Banana and Jimmy's ball team actually took home the division trophy last night. Let me note a few things:
a. there are about 100 teeth on the whole team - and most of them belong to Jimmy and I
b. most of the ball players smoke so much weed during the game that their eyes aren't even open
c. most of our team drinks to excess - the day of the game and the night BEFORE the game
d. most players on our team are over 40 years old.
The odds were stacked against us. But, we won. YAY!!
I'm exceptionally hung-over today. :mellow:

Umm, our win/loss record this year, prior to playoffs, was 4 wins 14 losses.

Oh :$ I'm not a good ball player. Yesterday, I played well. Had 2 RBI's, got on base four times in five at bats, was walked once.

Nah, everyone makes the playoffs. We finished last in the league, so our first game was against the team that finished first. In fairness, we won that game by default - they didn't have enough players. The other three games, we won on our own merit. Big Grin
