This movie is a complete waste of time. Apart from being unbelievable (which I could deal with, I mean, I watched Aliens Vs Predators happily) it has Zero characterization. Zero reason to care about the outcome, or the people in it. It moves slow. It isn't jumpy. It's premise is barely worth a hypothetical discussion, far less a two hour movie. It did bring up some interesting, if not already beaten to death, themes. I could think of at least three things that could start a decent discussion, but all this movie did was present them in the most superficial way. It brought nothing new to the table, fuck it didn't even bring anything old to the table. This movie couldn't find the fucking table.

And the acting was sub-standard. Carrie-Anne Moss wasn't great at actiing in the matrix, and here she fell a notch. Of course, they weren't given half decent dialog to work with.

Yeah. I hadn't heard of it either. Then I showed up at the movies without planning anything and it was the only thing on. A woman in line said she saw it and it was good. I saw her afterwards and could have smacked her :angry:

The name. Hrm. Perhaps I should say SPOILER. Of course, it is a piece of shit, so how could I spoil it? Anyway, the name relates to a guy in the movie's theory that a serial killer exists (or could exist) who has no pattern, no fixed MO. And that if such a person does, or did, exist we would never be able to find them, because we rely heaily on patterns to track serial killers.
