They're holding a special election next Tuesday for our congressional seat left vacant by Nathan Deal who quit to run for Governor of Georgia.

One of the candidates is a guy I've worked for and known all my life. Last I saw they're were 11 candidates. If no one gets over 50% of the vote they're will be a run off between the top 2. I really don't know if he has a chance to win but damn he sure has the campaign posters carpeting the whole area.

I'll probably vote for him. He's done me favors before. He even loaned me a couple of thousand one time. It would be nice to know a congressman. He lives on the same street about a half mile up the road.
