Sigh...!!
#1

Some times I hate the medical system ...

1Confusedt They decided to postpone the surgery due to the new MRI
2:nd They just told me that the knee replacement parts will wear out in like 15-20 years and then (with todays technology) they can't be replaced again.
3:d They will make the Synovectomy in two weeks but will last (the orthopedics words) "In best case two months" ...

It's starting to sound like I might as well start looking at sick leave... permanently ... Sad

Look at the bright side. At the rate you're wearing out you probably won't live another 15 or 20 years.

Might as well put Bird on suicide watch if lee shuts this place down.

Good luck honcho.

Wow, that blows! But 15-20 years of somewhat improved health is better than constant suffering now, isn't it?? Is there some sort of disability you can get onto to help with not being able to work?

Walking is painful and running is out of the question.
Can't put any extra weight on the knees (carry stuff).

What we still need to do is find a medication that works and lowers / stops the inflammations I have in all my joints.

And if the inflammations keep eating at my joints they will disintegrate and start more pains and shit ..

In a kinda status quo atm until they find working meds too.

Yeah, that's what they wanna do with the synovectomies ... give more time to see if we can find meds that work ... Next step is new knees ...

I will most likely get a 50% disability lay off soon and I might aim for 100% and move to Thailand or Mexico...

Hopefully these next meds they put you on won't be mixed with alcohol. Ahem.

Sounds like a shitty deal but you've gotta play with the hand you're dealt... good luck to ya!

there's an image that is right scary

yikes, tweety, wtf r u gonna do if the train gets derailed
it is a tad scary to contemplate how you will fill the gaping hole in your life

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.
