Howard is a nobody.The second coming of Daryl Dawkins.Big, can dunk and good on the boards but not enough game to carry a team far.He gets calls like he's shaq which I guess is what you're waiting for me to complain about but thats not the reason the sixers are down one.If freaking Hedo Turkalo is carrying you what kind of super star are you?The sixers don't have the talent or coaching to go far and it has nothing to do with Howard or the Magic.The fact they are this much of a factor tells you how dominant Howard really is.

If Rondo hit Miller at any other time but the last play of the game that would have been a flagrant foul.I've backed up from thinking Rondo will be an all pro guard.He'll be good but if 8 see's he's got trouble hitting long J's then I'm pretty sure the league is onto it too.He can be rendered ineffective with the right defense.

I agree on the flagrant call...it'll never get called on that type of play on the last play of a playoff game.


Everyone was doubling off Rondo (when he didn't have the ball) in the playoffs last year, he had some really bad games...but this season he's kept the ball in his hands A LOT more. He's more effective in the lane, developed a nice little floater, and is shooting much better. Still not a great shooter, but his stroke is improving.


I still think he's been the best player in the series...not sure how you can argue with his averaging a triple double through 5 games.

Ben Gordon is and has been better.So has Peirce.Big shots matter more then triple doubles.Rondo fades in the 4th.He's good but few guards make their living in the paint without having a nice jump shot.He's helped by having paul pierce and ray allen take the defensive pressure off him.I could get 5 assists a game passing to Pierce.You won't know how good he really is until he plays without great offensive players like those guys.Great for the celtics yes, all pro guard without the big three, I don't know.

If the bulls had a good center this series would be over already.

This version of the Spurs are done.The core of Parker, Duncan and Ginobli if healthy could make another run but they need to reload with talent.

Detroit's been done.

Let me know when Billups leads the league in scoring multiple years or becomes a finals MVP.He's having a good year.He needs to play like this for another 4 years for that question to be even considered.

I watch a lot of basketball because I'm fucking hardcore and one thing I've noticed is that when a guy goes to the line and needs to miss a free throw intentionally he always throws it off the backboard without it hitting the rim.When Milller was at the line I knew he was going to miss the rim.I'm surprised coaches don't scream at these guys to just make sure you hit the rim.
