i saw him go nuts on the last foul that sent duke to the line. i love it when a coach is yelling at the guys on the bench due to some act on the floor. what was with the throwing of the jacket?

We are living through the Paulus era at Duke unfortunately.The last time they lost 4 straight ever at home to anyone was Tim Duncans Wake Forest team during the time K was out with back surgeries.The last time they lost to UNC 4 straight at home was in the late 70's.I almost spit out my pennsylvania dutch birch beer when I heard that idiot Mike Patrick say boy Scheyer is a big game player.He fucking sucks.Keep Paulus in.You can tell Scheyer is a kid who probably spent his whole life thinking about playing for Duke and now that he's there he gets panicked at every big spot.He feels no pressure in the first half and ends up with 13.They need him to come up big in the 2nd and he only scores 7.
I think K is doing a lot with little talent when you think about it.Look at his bench.There is not one guy who could even play in europe.I think the olympics have hurt K's recruiting.I know he's got guys coming in that are going to start but how about being a little deep?

As a Carolina fan, I like the rivalry when it's competitive. Not saying it's lop-sided. During the Doherty (sp) years, Carolina's recruiting wasn't what it used to be. Now, they are finally getting the caliber players UNC/Duke fans are accustomed to. I don't know why Coach K loves Paulus as much as he does. It will be a refreshing change to have Coach K return to putting players on the floor based on talent and heart rather than his personal favorites.

i went to an ivy league school with "no athletic scholarships"
there were football players i went to class with who could barely read
duke has the same type of players
don't kid yourself
they don't give a shit about 100% graduation rate
k can get almost anyone in there he wants to have
they put them in remedial courses if they can't hack it

You went to school before prop 48 was enacted right?God you don't know what you are talking about.
2.5 GPA and a 1000 on the SATS are the bottom duke will let in.Try getting that from some brothers from chester.
