I have been here for 10.5 years, and I am so done with this place. I really am tired of feeling comfortable in a niche because it's familiar and pays well.

A bit of both. I consult in this industry on the side, which has given me a bit of new flavor, but there is a short life span on disability mangement. I just don't know what else I would want to do. Or coupd do. My background is in psychology, testing and vocational rehabiltation. Besides what I do now, I'm not sure what else I could do.

It would be scary to look for a new job especially in this climate.

My sister and brother in law got degrees in Psychology and now work with me in the construction sales business so you don't have to stick with that.Sometime the degree in anything is all you need to get your foot in the door at any type of job.

He is completely right about the degree. As long as you have one, it doesn't really matter what it's for. Employers just see college and then get all excited.

I've been there. Growing up I wanted to be a lawyer or at least work in the legal field. And I did work in the field and I loved it for awhile and I got burnt out. So now I work in the auto industry and I like it. Eventually, I may go back to the legal field. Just because you decide to change scenery for awhile doesn't mean you can't go back at some other point.

Just don't jump into anything- look into what you want to pursue before diving head first.

She's going on 39.She just got pregnant too.

at 20 years old 30 seemed like an old man.Its all relative.
