I heard someone speculating this week-end that McCain might pick Bob Dole to be his running mate. If he does that, they would have a combined age of 470 I think.

I think it will be Romney. Now that the GOP realizes that they actually ahve a shot, they will want to groom for 2012 or death, whichever comes first.

I agree, but I think it will be Huckabee. He's funnier and appeals to the cross section of the GOP that McCain doesn't do well with.

This may be the first presidential election I actually don't vote in. Both are certified dumbasses that will do nothing. I hope 2012 will have better candidates being that it'll be the end of the world and stuff.

Can you point to something in the news that shows Mccain having a better shot than he did a month ago?He's tied in one poll and down six in multiple polls not to mention he's losing in some major battle ground states the GOP used to have locked up.

Pick Romney and there goes the south because they aint voting for a guy who's 70 and who's next in line is the anti-christ.Why do you think Huckabee was a factor?

Your feelings about how Obama flip flopped isnt a trend through out the country like it was with Kerry.Voters have egg on their face from falling for that Rove tactic last election and now they regret who they picked.Adjusting your position to come more to the center is smart politics in order to garner a wider selection of voters.

Obama's momentum is huge.By comparison Mccain is dead in the water and I think your mistaking his recent signs of life as momentum.
