So I was watching the State of the Union last night....
#1

...and I had an epiphany of why a woman can't get elected president.

When the democrats had their "democratic response" and it was that chic from Kansas, it dawned on me. People don't like to watch women lie. Men, they expect it. They expect men to make promises they can't keep and talk about grand plans that they know they can't follow up on. But women look different saying those same things.

Men look dumb enough to believe that they think they can do the things they say. Women look calculating and conniving.

There is no denying that fact.

If the current president wasn't considered such a disaster I might tend to agree with you.I really believe GWB blew up the myth that only white males are fit to be president.

I thought he made a pretty good speech last night, all things considered. And i thought Obama's remarks after it was over were 10 times better than Hillary's.

I was kind of shocked to see the whole press conference (or whatever it was) when the Kennedy's all threw their support for Obama. Basically, handing him the right to use the JFK reference for his campaign. I'm not sure that I have ever seen them do that for a candidate.

He might have made a good speech but nobody is listening anymore.

The Kennedys controlled the democratic party for 40 years until the Clintons came along and took control from them.I believe they think Obama is the right guy to lead the country and a transformative type of figure but part of what they did was to try to take control away from the Clinton wing of the of the Democratic party for their own gain.

Not defending the murderer part but he's done a lot of good.Political dynasties on both sides all have their skeletons.Kennedy family is as close to royalty as the US ever had.

Joe Kennedy has a $$$ commercial for his oil gig.

The phone number is 877-JOE-4OIL, and he has Cam Neely (8), Ray Bourque (77), himself, and Bobby Orr (4) standing in front of some oil tank to simulate the number. That's some Kennedy genius right there.

Unlike 8 I don't try to pass other peoples idea off as my own but I agree with this guy that Al gore could come out right now and endorse Obama and cripple the Clinton campaign.

Do you see any way that Gore would throw his support to Obama and stiff the clintons? Seriously? I'm not sure how most people would perceive that.

That said, if he simply doesn't come out supporting anyone prior one candidate coming out as a clear victor in the primaries, that's pretty much saying that he's not a Hillary fan. If he was going to support her, he'd do it before Super Tuesday.

I just hope with all of this sudden momentum, that he's (Obama) not blowing his wad too quick before next Tuesday.

They really didnt support him to much when he ran in 2000 so I think he's definitly leaning Obama but it's not a sure thing he'll come out and endorse him.
