Do you miss work? Not that I am saying motherhood isn't work, just wondering if you miss the daily grind....

I do.

I haven't worked in about 4 years. I wouldn't trade staying home for anything, but I do miss the getting out of the house to talk to adults and stuff. Then again, I do so much around home that I don't see how working moms do it. I'm hoping that once both kids are in school I can do something part time. That's still like, 5 years away. ><

yeah...well, yeah. The pay is really horrible. I left in June, so I have until end June to return. The good news is, Jimmy's ma is a daycare provider, so we have an awesome resource when I go back to work.

Fairie - you don't miss working?

That's great. I'd probably try to do something sooner if my mom could watch the kid.

Fairie still works. Smile

I had the right of the "bad look" when at work I went to the accountant (it's a she) telling that I wasn't happy with the fact that they took some kind of maternity insurance (it's by law an obligation) on my salary.

I was like "hey I am not a woman why don't they take it on womens only ? I mean I will never use that feature !"

Well that was some time ago before ntype 2.0 and way before...well that was a long time ago.
