the head priest......
#1

chastised me for drinking a beer
i will have to seek a new living arrangement

suggestions?? :melt:

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

not a monastery, just a small zen temple
schedule is a tad less harsh, sorta like zen-lite

but maybe not for much longer, eh?
i just composed an email to send off to the master
let's see what he has to say about this and then proceed

bear in mind, this fucker insisted that i get wasted when i was 100% alcohol free, back in the day
and that was when we were arising at 3 AM to begin the day

the real problem is when i drink one beer, i smell like a fucking brewery
they will be back for 7:30 meditation
it may be my swan song
