ok here's some inexpensive way to do her a gift :

1. buy some "oooh so lovely" little basket
2. go buy some lotions (don't need to be expensive)
3. but one chocolate bar into it or a cd or whatever else
4. add a flower (you can even get it in some field)
5. if it's still looking "empty" fill the rest with some filling material (cotton stuff like that)
6. add some quick note on some litttle piece of cardboard like "I love you crappy honey"

voilà you've got some inexpensive gift with lotsa surprises she will be utterly happy. not because of the "price of the gift" but because you've made some *research* for her gift like "he shall had to went to a few shops to find that" and she will feel somewhat special (even if you feel somedays that you are living by some kind of nevrotic)
